Here are some considerations in reviewing an OER for your course:
1. Does the resource cover the subject properly?
2. Is the resource of sufficient quality (proper grammar, punctuation, clearly written, appropriate level, free of errors, etc.)?
3. Are you willing to improve the resource if it does not meet all of your needs?
4. Does the copyright license assigned to the resource allow you to make those changes?
5. Does the accessibility of the resource meet the needs of my students?
6. Are you willing to use/adapt/combine more than one resource to meet your needs?
