Use a group study room for Group Work.

Library materials are organized by the Library of Congress Classification System an alphanumeric library classification system based on subject

• Use Search@UW to find an item, its location and its Call Number.
• Signs on the endcaps indicate the call numbers shelved in that stack.

Materials from the Main Collection can be checked out at the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library.

Stout student artwork is part of the Student Artist-in-Residence program funded  by former UW-Stout president Bud Micheels.  Most artwork is located on the fourth and fifth floors.

Two group study rooms are located behind the fifth floor restrooms.

• Allows for collaborative learning and practicing for presentations.
• Equipped with white boards and the ability to screen share.
• There are also group study rooms on first and fourth floors.

The rooms are not for individual study. Make a reservation.

The University Archives and Area Research Center is the place to visit for old photographs, historic buildings, your ancestry, or historical background of UW-Stout and Menomonie in addition to Barron, Dunn or Pepin counties.  Online indexes are available to search Stout publications and local cemeteries.
