Parking

Visitor Parking

Parking on the UW-Stout campus is regulated throughout the entire calendar year. All vehicles must be authorized to park by permit, pay station or meter. The closest parking lot with pay stations is lot 18, it is $1/hr., max of 9 hours, will accept cash or credit card, and it has disabled parking. Here are Google Maps directions to Lot 18, and the two pay stations are located on the west side of the drive lane near the Jarvis Hall Science Wing. Pay by the hour is in designated zone only, marked by signage. Metered parking is on street 3rd street to the west of the library building, or on 9th Ave E. just north of the library building.

Permit Holders

For people with Commuter Parking permits, the nearest parking spaces are in Lot 10, off 4th St. E., or Lot 1, off Wilson Ave E. Lot 1 has accessible parking spaces.

Building Access

From 10th Ave. E. (south side) There are power-assisted doors operated by a push pad at this entrance to the library. You will enter the building on the first floor, and this is the main entrance to the library. The elevator will not access the Hub or classrooms on the second floor, so if you would like to visit those areas, please use our entrance off of 3rd St. E.

From 3rd St. E. (west side) There are power-assisted doors operated by a push pad at this entrance. You will enter the building on the second floor where you can access the HUB and classrooms, but there is not an elevator to take you to other floors. The grayed-out area of this library floor map will show you what you can access using this entrance without using stairs. If you want to visit other levels of the library that are accessible by elevator, please use our main entrance off of 10th Ave E.

See the library floor maps for information about the layout of the library and the location of elevators.
