Public Relations

Event Calendar and Public Relations Policy

This document is provided to outline the role the public relations committee plays in library events.

Lead – Public Relations Committee plans and promotes event.

Partner – Public Relations Committee will help promote an event, service, etc., upon request, that is being planned by another group.

Lend Support – Public Relations Committee provides the tools for you to promote your event, service, etc. 

  • Provide information on where to market library events (see above)
  • Post to social media – you provide photos and content
  • Graduate Assistant:  Can help with social media postings, Check This Out (bathroom monthly), library lobby slides and posters. Contact Tanya, supervisor, with requests.
  • Circulation students: Contact Circulation supervisor with requests. Can help with simple signage, displays and more, depending on skill set of students.
